Re: Tairin Federation
that looks much better, keep the second set.
Re: Tairin Federation
That works well, I think.
An army marches on its stomach, and its favorite food is fudge.

Well I'm thinking about making a Pseudo-Arachnid Empire entry into the Point Central, but I need some help...
Which version of the Worker should I use?
The old one:

Alright, but should I use just the new waist, or the fenders as well?RunsWithLegos wrote:new.
The old one had a couple of plates coming down from each side of the top piece to close the gap, but I can't fit those in with the fenders.
...In fact, I might just make another version without the joint holding up the top, and try to lay it down flat on the fenders...

Re: Tairin Federation
Guh, DAMN IT!!!
A new version of the Worker, now lacking the jointed back plate of the Blast Scorpion and sporting a more organic looking undercarriage.
Also have a new idea for some MUCH better looking Hunter Wings if any of you would want to see it.

Here it is:
And one with a background so you can see the wings better...
The only issue I can see with this one is that it uses Part #95120 instead of #44822...
LDD shows them as two parts with a minor difference (specifically an extra clicky brush on #95120), while Bricklink just groups them together...

Re: Tairin Federation
no, i get it, but having no grunts besides the workers leads to a weakness in the ranks.

...That's why I came up with the Blast Scorpion, so the Arachnids would have something besides unarmed Workers and Huge-ass Warriors to fight with.RunsWithLegos wrote:no, i get it, but having no grunts besides the workers leads to a weakness in the ranks.
...But yeah, I still don't think you get it...

Re: Tairin Federation
