There's another update for LDD coming out in a few weeks, so I'll start this up again when it arrives. Until then, think about your life and where you're headed. Are you making wise decisions based on reasoning and fact? Are your relationships with your friends and loved ones rewarding and meaningful? What is your general outlook on life? If it's bad, how can you change it?
And whores... lovely, lovely whores...

Re: Sky Ruler (LDD RPG)
You have been brought to the great city of Myrindol with an armed escort. Peasants clear the way as you ride in through the gates. Merchants and shoppers stare at your strange company as you move past them.
You are brought not to the great citadel nor the arch-mage's tower, but to a quiet garden. Once there, you are asked to dismount your horses and approach a solitary figure cloaked in blue. As you move closer, you feel the air begin to change. Something ancient, like the elves, yet older, stirs around you as if the very foundations of the world begin to shift. You can't explain it, and you feel no need to do so, as a calmness fills your hearts that you had not felt since you left Eth'Driel. You know that no matter what may come, you are safe around the individual in the cloak.
"Falir Avabuul has told me of the great deeds you have accomplished. He has also spoken of this new task that you have chosen."
It is a man's voice that speaks to you, ancient yet familiar.
"You would do that which has been attempted many times, yet only ever accomplished once. You would set a servant a Rend against his master and have him rejoin the light. Is this not the reason you have come?" He sighs heavily, then continues. "But all of that shall be discussed soon enough. Tell me about yourselves, that I may judge your skills and find a fitting place for them in our grand scheme."
Tell the arch-mage of your goals and aspirations. Why did you set out adventuring in the first place? What drives you to save Marko Hund? Etc.

"I am Fahim-Al-Saif, a scholar at heart and an explorer and warrior by trade. I seek a better life for all peoples and it has long been my contention that a better life comes through knowledge and that the path to knowledge is found in all the cultures of the world. Unity for the people must come from the people, and they are made up of extraordinary individuals. Hund was one such person. In the short time I knew him, I befriended him. Even had I not, I still believe his life has immeasurable value and would still embark on this quest against evil were any such man in his place."

"I set out in search of good adventure, and good drink. I've found the second many times over, but the first is hard to come by. I've found a grand adventure with these fine men, and Marko was a part as well. It wouldn't be right to leave him with whatever horror took him."

I am Aioshi from the Yatsu Shogunate. I have been through much with my companions, and I feel an obligation to help save Marko, without him our quest would not have succeeded.
Also if I can then I would like to ask the arch-mage about the spirit? I have been seeing, maybe he knows more about it and why it is talking to me.

The spirit is your dragon ancestor that you met in chapter one. Sorry, I didn't explain that.Falk wrote:Also if I can then I would like to ask the arch-mage about the spirit? I have been seeing, maybe he knows more about it and why it is talking to me.

"A Hatumid scholar, a warrior of the shogunate, a descendant of the ancient forests and one that comes from neither our time nor realm. Though you were not made from the same mold, your trials have shaped you into a strong, cunning and fearless companionship. Marko Hund is blessed to have friends such as you."
"But you must know that the task ahead will never be easy. Some of you, more than likely all of you, will perish. It fills me with sorrow that I must send you on this dangerous path, but to rescue any that are caught in the dark lie of Rend could never be considered an easy task.
"You must travel to lands far to the south. Over the mountains, across the sands, until you reach the jungles of Champurra. There is one there that has known the heart of Rend and seen through it's lie. Be wary, he is well protected, formidable and very mistrusting of outsiders.
There are three ways to reach Champurra. You may first travel south, through Rend and then cross the Hatumid desert, but to traverse the dark realm would surely send you to your doom. If you were to even make it through the nightmare of the dark land, only one of you is truly prepared for life upon the sands.
"The second way is the safest, as you would have need to return to Lake Mathos and travel by ship through Karak Benur and then by sea to Champurra. There are many storms in this region and it may delay your journey.
"And finally, the third path will lead you west, to the sea. It is the fastest way to reach the rajdoms of the south, but you will certainly face peril for you will have need to slip past the navies of Seltania, an ally of the dark lord.
"And so the choice is up to you, gentlemen. Do you travel by land through darkness, then blistering sands? By passing on a torrent of water through great mountains and risk the storms of the east? Or will you chance the friend of our enemy and their endless ships so that you may arrive at your destination faster?"

Hello? is this thread still alive? the last update was about a year ago, and I like where it's heading and was kinda wondering if I would be able to join, but it looks as if you are either doing other things, or are working on a massive update, or both.
Why do hotdogs come in packs of eight but the buns come in packs of six?
Why is it a mystery? Why do people care that it is a mystery?

Are we talking about CoD or Broforce in regards of "paying respect"?
