On the surface of New Glasgow, Queen Victoria continues her tour...
Image
SAS Trooper: "Your highness, there are reports of a battle in orbit. You should get under cover."
Queen Victoria: "Nonsense! As Queen, we must show the same bravery we expect of our soldiers. And anyway, I'm sure the defense forces in orbit have things well in hand."
SAS Trooper: "Even so, we might see some falling debris, or even escape pods-"

*THUNK*

Victoria: "Why, who could it be?..."

Image
Victoria: "Admiral Blackdog, what a surprise! I didn't expect to see you here today."
Blackdog: "Your majesty, I am here on a mission of utmost importance. For the sake of our Empire, you must resume the war with Bavaria."
Victoria: "What, and send more young minifigs to die to the Huns' barbaric spells? We're content to keep them as our allies, thank you very much."
Blackdog: "I see. Tell me, why did you sign a treaty with them in the first place?"
Victoria: "We... um... We don't know."
Blackdog: "Really? Because I do."

Kaiser Klaus: "That's better, now you have 24 hours before my hypnotic black lipstick wears off. In that time you are to release all Bavarian prisoners and load them onto captured ships. These ships and prisoners are to be given adequate supplies."
Victoria: "Understood."
Kaiser Klaus: "You are also to give them any captured Assyrian ships and non-steamtek. Also, you will create a system that will prevent you from being at war for Bavaria for the next few months."
Victoria: "You mean a parliament?"
Kaiser Klaus: "Yes, exactly. Now get to it."

Image
Victoria: "Klaus, you duplicitous weasel!"
Blackdog: "So you see, the Kaiser has been manipulating you all along. We need to avenge this insult to Britannia. We need to strike back!"
Victoria: "Kaiser, We'll have you and your entire bloody country drawn and quartered for that! This means war!"

The dramatic red text makes for an effective introduction. 10/10.

That last image is the best. Like old newsy propaganda. Couldn't help but read it in oldtimey radio announcer voice.
