Previously: Path to the Grail

EMPEROR PILTOGG: Report!
CREWMAN: After eighteen months, we're finally approaching Medivo space. We can't get a reading on the Anti-Teknology Field, but our science-based systems are down to thirty percent across the board.
PILTOGG: Patience, crewman. If we'd tried to warp directly into the Anti-Tek Field, our atoms would have never reassembled. And this way I got to spend more quality time with Shab-al-Hiri Pony.
CREWMAN: [throws up in mouth a little bit]
PILTOGG: Vas Kallas! How are the preparations going?

VAS KALLAS: Okka-Wakka-Thulhu and the cultists have taken position in the Teleportation Accelerator.

VAS KALLAS: We can't teleport in the Anti-Tek Field, but the Sorceress Morgaine has repurposed the hyperspatial nexus to amplify their BrikThulhian sorcery. We should be able to maintain life support and navigation with magic until the Akkadian Marines have reached Mocia and secured the Path to the Grail.
PILTOGG: Excellent.

VAS KALLAS: I don't like having to leave the defensive fleet outside Medivo space, but we don't yet know how many ships Okka-Wakka can maintain simultaneously. We should move quickly, before anyone takes advantage of our isolated position.
PILTOGG: There's nothing to fear. The DethStar could hold its own even if we didn't have the Artifakts on our side.
VAS KALLAS: I hope you're right.

PILTOGG: Commander Nietzsche! Status report!
COMMANDER NIETZSCHE: We are, all of us, growing volcanoes that approach the hour of their eruption!
PILTOGG: Are the Akkadian Marines prepared for assault launch on the Mocian surface?
NIETZSCHE: Danger alone acquaints us with our own resources, our virtues, our armor and weapons, our spirit — and forces us to be strong.
PILTOGG: Sounds good to me. Crewman, initiate launch sequence for the Kaizer.
CREWMAN: 7906 Kaizer Assault Lander, release mooring clamps on my mark. Drei, zwei, eins...

CREWMAN: ... mark!
Next: Koincidence levels are spiking!
