2011 Invasion of Narische

Post by militaryfreak » Sat Jun 24, 2017 7:30 pm

East of the Mirthanese, Narische is the second largest of the Mirthanese islands. offcially ceded over to South Mirthan following the 1960's civil war, Narische was largely an unimportant part of the country, relying on tourism and a few offshore oil deposits as its economy. Until in 2009, vast deposites of Tungsten, Iron, and Bauxite was discovered along much of the Western half. The island boasted a very large Muslim population, descendents of pioneers from Indonesia.
