LESSON 2 - Planetfall

Unbeknowst to the crew.. M-105 was an uncharted, but not uninhabited world... It's fledgling primitive population was divided and constantly infighting.. by the time the crew landed... or crash landed to be more precise.  War and death was everywhere

The civilization of M-105 were a Medieval Tek Level 2.. and had recentley developed steel, Wealthy Lords fought with one another to control more riches and resources... Kings constantly gained power only to be assassinated by rivals, rebels,  or relatives.

Making matters worse. A killer plague had begun spreading among the minifigs.. with no proper medicine, minifigs dropped dead and the survivors were forced to go on without their friends and loved ones..

Peasants begged their lords to assist,  but the wealthy kept the peasantry at a distance,  for the poor it was their lot in life to die randomly and suddenly.  and the concerns of farmers was beneath those who had any wealth.. Authorities did nothing

More and more, the corpses started to pile.  The minifigs left with nothing but their grief and confusion..

Eventually.. it spiraled out of control,  While wars waged on,  citizens and soldiers alike started to die in droves from the Plague.. It was beginning to look like the end times for the civilization of  M-105

Modern estimates suggest as many as 90% of the population died from the plague,  Bitter enemies joined forces for survival..

And slowly but surely,  The survivors of the plague wittled away from starvation and sickness...   and Banditry ruled the day as the haves, took what they wanted from the have nots,  who were made to suffer what they must..

After a few weeks in space,  the ship crashed on M-105..

The survivors sent out a team of scouts to look around for a safe place to set up camp..

The planet seemed uninhabited, and as they walked they would debate the futility of setting up a distress beacon,  for they didn't know exactly who owned this planet, if anyone.

Their questions would soon be answered for them, as they were captured by primitive sentries.  At the time, the locals figured them to just be travelling peasants.. By now it was very uncommon to find travellers in the wilderness, as almost everyone had resorted to savagery or banditry,  and the few remaining bastions of civilization were held up by honorbound warlords

By now, almost all princes, dukes, kings, queens and other leaders of the civilizations on the world had succumbed to the plague.  The last remaining heir of the region's remaining major nation was in the final stages of his expiration to the plague.

And by chance.. The captured scouts were accidentally brought into the basement with the dying King..

One of the scouts, immediately recognized the ailment as a common disease that many minifig worlds had dealt with back where he came from.. Although extremely skeptical at first.. The soldiers were eventually convinced to let them try to heal him.

With some basic medical supplies the scouts took before leaving the ship.  They administered the cure.. a simple concoction of lemon juice, magnesium, and ground green transparent was all that was needed...

And to the primitive's surprise.. a few hours later the King arose back from the brink of death.. The scouts were revered as holy angels.. in time they would teach the primitives that they were infact Travellers from outer space.. and they would teach them how to produce their own medicine for the cure.. Despite their eventual realization that there was life on other planets, that basically voided most of their religions... The refugees were donned the honor of "Saivors from the Stars"
