NOW ON TO THE ACTION!!

The Akkadian heavy bolters, the sword-maidens and Vas Kallas all stepped forward courageously to hold off the forces of evul.
Image

Allowing the main infantry to attack the DSMs on the flank.
Image

Two of the fighter-planes stayed with the hardcore figs.
Image

And two went with the regular ones.
Image

The first round of Akkadian fire took out all three oktopi and one skeletal horse.
Image

The bigger and badder baddies advances, not having any ranged weapons.
Image

The smaller ones engaged the Akkadians. And it was awesome...
Image

The DSM advanced to more useful positions.
Image

Forming a formidable wall of colorful-ness and skill honed over the eons.
Image

Some Akkadians got killed by monsters.
Image
Image
Image

And one more got killed by space-men
Image

and an Overwatch.
Image

turn 2
Fighter-planes surrounded enemies on either side of the field.
Image
Image

The Akkadian infantry moved up to the base of the fortification and started climbing up.
Image

The heavy bolters backed up, leaving the ladies to do the slaughtering.
Image

Piltogg was busy charging up. (I pretty much just wanted to make it look like he was doing something back there.)
Image

The front three DSM fell to the golden scimitars forged deep in the core of Akkadia.
Image

A sword maiden took out a quadu, but not it's skeletal rider.
Image

The other swordmaiden and vas Kallas teamed up on a raptor.
Image

Klling it.
Image

The bolters fired, but missed.
Image

Death from above was shouted. along with some bolts of trans-blue energy, the signature color of death by Akkadians.
Image

Leading to one more DSM dieing.
Image

I think three more Akkadians got shot by DSM here.
Image

BURP-man takes a octopus corpse, and throws it...
Image

At a fighter plane. Not destroying it, but effectively blinding it with a combination of ink and tentacles.
Image

Two raptors team up on a sword maiden.
Image

tearing her in half, and making themselves a tasty snack.
Image

The skeleton wipes the other sword-maiden from existence.
Image
Image

more shit moves...
Image

the remaining Akkadians gain the top of the fortification.
Image

Vas Kallas hops on top of a troll and uses a heroic feat to stab through it's thick skull.
Image

Becoming: Vas Kallas, Troll Slayer.
Image

The heavy bolters fire on the other troll, but it uses it's reaction to dodge the shots.
Image

It is very very pissed off looking now.
Image

Akkadians kill more DSMs
Image

The blinded pilot flies off in a random direction
Image

The other fires on OKKA-WAKKA-THULU
Image

Definitely getting it's attention...
Image

BURP man makes a new friend.
Image

And throws her across the field, killing her.
Image

Making BURP man feel like a total badass
Image

TTTTTTTTTTRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOLLLLL CCCCCHHHHHAAAARRRGGGEEE!!!!!!!!!
Image

Kills a bolter.
Image

And the report is ceased for a short lunch incurred intermission.

the continuation:

Piltogg noticed that something had crept into his rage, and took a shot at it.
Image

And then was there no more trolz on the field of battle...
Image

Cthulu eviscerated a fighter-plane (which I believe I named hornets, I'll look it up later.)
Image

Akkadians surrounded the two remaining DSM with a four way pincer movement.
Image

The DSM with the god killer started to run awa to the protection of the neo-bleywatch troops.
Image

The two fighters followed his every step, however.
Image

Cthulu turned on the blinded fighter-craft
Image

As did the anti-aircraft platform, who finally had a target in range.
Image

crashing the second aircraft into the ground.
Image

Shaun cowered, his seemingly impenetrable defenses failing on all sides.
Image

The undead horse finally got shot by the heavy bolters.
Image

BURP man clambered up the battlement to his next victims.
Image

In this combat, one Akkadian was killed, and so were the two remaining DSM.
Image

The DSM with the god-killer was shot down by one of the hornets.
Image

And Piltogg finally got the ok to run up and fight.
Image

Two Akkadians held BURP man at bay.
Image

And the other picked up the god-killer
Image

Finding a very poorly lit target.
Image

And slaying OKKA-WAKKA-THULU, forever ending Brikthulu's chances of entering the world again in chicken walker form.
Image

The remaining fighter planes fired on the neo-bleywatch, but missed.
Image

BURP-man slew the two Akkadians.
Image

Then felt something on his back.
Image

And He was no more.
Image

Shaun and his cronies rallied for a final stand.
Image

Anti-aircraft continues to fire.
Image

taking out another fighter-plane.
Image

But not before it and it's partner shot down a bley-watch hoe.
Image

Piltogg continues up the stairs...
Image

Leaving his final heavy trooper to be ripped to shreds by the raptors.
Image

He rather obviously died.
Image

Shots at the bleywatch missed, but were close enough to nearmiss into the ground he was standing on.
Image

Causing him to fall to his death.
Image

Piltogg finally arrived to his destination.
Image

Killing Shaun and the final Bleywatch trooper.
Image

Enemy survivors who presumably were eventually moped up.
Image

Akkadian Survivors.
Image

Carnage shot.
Image

Piltogg added the oktopustika token to his hardsuit.
Image

And happily thought to himself about how he would obtain the next Artifakt.

I think his greatest challenge will be stubby, with the Almighty Ban-Hammer that has the power to destroy without any roll, as it never misses. The Grail knight could possible be a bigger threat as he has possibly one of the best of the artifacts, The Skully Grail, and could just use its mind control make Piltogg gve him all the artiacts he has.
Nataliya does have a very powerful artifact indead, by it does say that there have been a few that have survived. Bitizen's Stupendous- Featinator will be a challenge with the power of infinate feats, but don't forget that it will not let her succeed them automatically

but of course, I won't go after the really hard ones until I get my hands on as many of the easier ones as possible.

also, good news. My friend, who has a huge medieval town setup has agreed to let me use it for this. so the next quest section wont take as long. probably for the hammer of Discipline, which is probably the next easiest thing. And because Almighty Benny is exteamly unlikely to do one of these reports.

Yo, You guys do know that if piltogg gets the stupendous featinator, he will be invincible. Piltogg gets + a lot to all rolls, including heroic feat rolls, and with the stupendous featinator, he will get infinite feats.

:byzero: possibly a brik-headed scientist and a man with a top hat can stop him!

being invincible is pretty much the whole point of getting any of the artifax. (hehehe, wait till you see what I built to represent all of them combined.) Anyway, I have a stage 2.5 planed out that will be where the two uber-noobs will make their appearance (along with somebody of infinite more importance, and cpt Halan will be helping Benny in stage 3. :)

also, stupendous featinator will probably happen after that. and I'm going to need a giant list of potential stupendous feats blitzen might decide to do, because if I don't have a giant list, her turn stops when I run out of ideas.
(please PM ideas for these, so I can compile all the ideas with no repeats in a single post)

This is fantastic, I already foresee that I'm going to be looting through your photos the way I did with ZZD.

It's a shame that Shaun didn't have any tricks up his sleeve to take advantage of Piltogg separating from his protective squad - one good summon behind the lines would have made things a lot more exciting, and then Piltogg wouldn't have had to spend the first round "powering up" to make it look like he was doing something. It just seemed unmanly.

ummm, i assume that means solveless' blood warriors and Brik-hed.

nope, bloodwariors have no spot until I get to a slaughter based scenario, probably Blitzen's. (she is going to be hidden within a large crowd, to buy time)

Yay!
and that would have been a good idea, but once I start taking pictures, my brain pretty much just goes on auto-run so I need to preplan all the things that will probably happen, and that didn't come to mind.

Interesting fact: this whole thing started just so I could have an excuse for why Piltogg wasn't fighting at FICO. (obvious unfair advantage)

Yeah, if possible, could my sigfig(Gould) be alive at the end of this. Piltogg is supposed to enter my group's campaign and if Gould is dead, there might be continuity issues. Also, if you decide that Gould must die, please let him kill something on your side.
