Japanimation Club 2.0

Postby Insert_blank » Tue Aug 09, 2016 7:33 pm

I think it's time to revive the Japanimation Club that we tried to do a few years ago however realizing what the issues were last time I may have found a solution to previous problems. As a result there are going to be more rules from last time but hopefully that will encourage people to continue on.

a) No Japanimation over 26 episodes (12 episodes is the ideal, people are busy)
b) OVAs or movies are preferred
c) Try to find a different genre from the month before
d) You should not have watched this Japanimation before
e) Newbies are encouraged to participate (pick a show someone told you about or sounds interesting)
f) Newbies will be allowed to sign up for a month and will be given preferential treatment over returning members

So from here we will try to make a schedule of users for the next calendar year starting from August 2016-July2017 if you are interested say which month you'd like (if you want to recommend a Japanimation at the same time please do so). As people sign up we can make a completed year plan to follow.

I'd like to watch Record of Lodoss War sometime.

Good idea about the episode limit. Remember Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom?

I am only interesting in watching anime I have already seen. Any suggestions for going back in time and watching it instead?

Angel's Egg had awesome art to be fair and it wasn't that hard to understand. Just a flood myth.

When the next great flood happens all the razgrizzlies will be collected and driven out of Disney World in a wooden bus.

New idea let's do some Halloween recommendations. I'm gonna watch Little Witch Academia of course and I'm looking at checking out Tweeny Witches which is supposed to be well animated. What other Halloween stuff are people looking at?
