I'm writing up ambush at Matua specifically for this con.
Basically the nazis find the holy grail and are shipping it back to Berlin on an armoured train, but the allies, brikthulu cultists and inquisition attempt to intervene.

That would be awesome... *sigh*piltogg wrote:I'm writing up ambush at Matua specifically for this con.

Alas, real life has bitten me in the ass once again. Had to replace an appliance yesterday. This cost us $700 that wasn't in the budget, so the chances of my getting to World War Brick this year is kind of slim to none. We shall see, but I likely won't be able to make it.

I would attend, but I found that ancient NELUG edict on age, and I live in central West Texas. Otherwise, I would try to make it there.

I've just realized that I'm going to be out of town for WWB, which totally sucks, since it's both the first time I can have a battle with forum members, but also one of the few times a lego convention is going to be held somewhere I can be.

it's ok. the battle got swarmed by like 10 little kids, so it wasn't really serious at all. There were a bunch of random super-heroes and starwars characters running around and going pew-pew, and various arguments about what's fair or not going on. There were basically only like 15 AFOLS at the whole convention. This includes teenaged people, but not the kid's parents. Mostly it was just kids with rich parents who were really big fans of brickarms or brickmania or even just something like call of duty.

To be fair I also would've thrown in a bunch of shitty superheroes.

Not to resurrect deadish threads, but now I am kind of glad I couldn't make it. I'm fairly patient, but even I have my limits...Silent-sigfig wrote:To be fair I also would've thrown in a bunch of shitty superheroes.

Speaking of the Midwest, who would be willing to converge on the Iowa city of Iowa City for a Brikwar?

Hey I officially live in the Twin Cities now. Anyone else in the area?

Yooo, I'm probably within spitting distance of you. We should try to arrange something some time, my army's been collecting dust.
