You'd half to talk to Strana. I'd be trekking up from San Diego, and don't want to drag a whole assload of bricks with me. Most likely we're just going to see a handful of minifigs each side and leave it at that, which I'm down for.

well the tables are 4x16 ft so your army would fit as for gamesize i was thinking maybe 20 troops per one or two heroes 1-3 vehicles a person. as for a date how does june 12, or 13th sound. please give other time's so we can come to an agreement.

sorry for not posting i broke my laptop, and had to correct another laptop after a techie got done "fixing it".

also im working on building lego terrain for later games

This time works great for me. I plan on making it there.

Your gamesize sounds just right as well. I say we shouldn't worry about CP, but don't try to make stuff retardedly overpowered (says the man bringing a 9 inch battle tank). To put everything in perspective, I will be bringing three vehicles, 17 minifigs, and one hero. I have one flying dropship with light weapons and 2d10 armor, a halftrack transport with a heavy gun and 2d10 armor, and a heavy battle tank with 3d10 armor. I'll post pictures ~*eventually*~.

How many people are planning on attending? So far I see myself, Strana, Tuefish, and Roc77 tossing their hats in the ring. If any one else wants to come (or one of you is dropping out), speak up! If you want me to bring a loaner army of similar size and strength, I can do that just as well.

And as for one final note, what rules are we using? Will there be any house rules, or are we going to stay more or less standard? If you ask me, I suggest just using vanilla 2005 rules and not worrying about potentially game-breaking house rules. I've got what I believe to be balanced rules for things like heavy machineguns and standard automatic weapons, but I think it's probably too much of a hassle to try to play a game AND learn a new rule at the same time.

yeah well use the vanilla 2005 rules for now, especially since we don't necessarily now each others army's and well try have a base a rule set as possible. I'll be bringing most of my stuff, which is IFV 2d10 MBT 3d10 +various armor, all my men just in case i can talk some more people that don't necessarily have army's. Two light tanks 2d10 and one starfighter. ill have some others on hand but then ill be overprepared i guess. but for know it just looks like those that are interested already in the thread.

Strana wrote:well pursuant to some of us getting together in southern california for some games, i saked one of the local gaming stores called GMI games and collectables. to see if they would be willing to have us hold turnaments or just play. the answer was yes, though for tournaments it would be $5 a head, for those wishing to participate and that to have the tounaments we would have to have a list of dates that would be usable, so that we could come to the most agreable date.
Quoting this to keep the info all on one page. What's the address of this place?

EDIT: also if they have a website, a link would be nice.
