Does anyone have a place they know we could set up?
Read the entire thread, it will answer both of your questions.

I don't know...

I don't know if I'd be able to get there. Currently, my family has no car. I take the TTC everywhere and I don't think it goes to Markham... Maybe the GO train does, I'll check.

Sorry to be a pest but is there any other place we can meet? I can get to Markham but it's costly

Exactly what's the address of this shop, I want to map out some directions for myself.

I'm sorry but I think Markham would be the best place still. It's aoffan's local shop so we have a connection there.

I agree that it's much better to go somewhere we have a contact, instead of a random hobby store. I've been going there for about 6 years, so they're much more likely to make the accommodations for someone they know well.

Also, the TTC does come to Markham on some routes, such as Highway 48 and McCowan. The store is located at Warden Avenue and Highway 7. If you want to look it up a bit more, it's called Heroes World.

I propose we do this on Saturday the 6th or Sunday the 7th.

I'll have to see which weeks we're heading up to my cottage, but otherwise I'm fine with those two dates.

Ok, cool. Thanks for the store name.

Anyway, sorry for asking. I'm not one to
call any shots around here, really. I was
just curious why in Markham. I didn't know
you had connections there, which is great!

Just a question, will we just build everything at home
and bring there or will someone have something like
a tub of bricks to create the terrain?

P.S: I'll have to go check that TTC map again... :P

Ugh... These bus routes are evil! XD

I might have a fixed car by august so
I'll hope for that. Sorry if I'm posting alot
of crap, I'm very... inquisitive about this
ordeal.

There's no way we could have enough time to build everything right before the battle. The terrain will be pre-made, and we'll just set it up when we get there.

Speaking of the terrain, I'd better get started on some. I'm assuming that since it's an "attack the city" kind of battle, that the terrain is just going to be regular buildings? Good, because I've already got a couple built.

It turns out I'm heading up to my cottage the first two weeks of August. I'll probably be able to negotiate a way to be back for the weekend, so don't give up just yet. I just thought I'd let you guys know that there's a slight possibility that this won't happen.
