Actual Asian History

Post by Brikguy0410 » Thu Feb 12, 2015 4:11 pm

This is a thread to discuss asian history, as I find it to be more interesting than anime by quite a large margin, you people can go talk about magical girls and tentacle pr0n somewhere else. So anyway, let's sit back and talk about history!

Mike Tyson Mysteries, it has an asian girl in it.

At first you might think, yuk, but it is rated 82% at Rotten Tomatoes.

You're the history expert. Why don't you kick this off; what's the most interesting bit of history here?

Feudal japan, as said in the link provided by QS, it was a time of ninjas, samurai, betrayal, warrior monks (I'm not kidding, there were warrior monks) and powerful clans competing for the ultimate prize: the city of Kyoto. (Then capital of japan at the time) and while this part is my personal favorite, there are plenty of other interesting parts, like the great conquerors that Asia has produced over the centuries, like genghis khan and atila the Hun, to name a few.
