Someone could kill your weapon though, where it's much harder to "kill" a more conventional weapon

Sounds good to me. You'd probably stat it as a Minifig Tool while a minifig was swinging it, but it would be killed if it ever took a point of damage (like if you tried to parry with it or something). And of course it could be released to act as a regular unit whenever you felt like it.

Size 0 Creatures are covered in 10.4 under "Swarms" and cost either 2 or 3 CP depending on type.

Sure, but why would you need to? Poisonous vermin are in there already as one of the basic types.

Wouldn't it die the moment you hit something with it? Newton's third law and all.

Could use combine fire for plus one and poison... Also minifigures have no concept of this "Newton's third law" :rtfm:

I've always wanted to see a minifig slap other minifigs around with a fish. Now that dream can be reality.

Then, they could go cut down that shrubbery with the fish, right?

That used to happen all the time, but I think it was before this forum. It was pretty common in NELUG's brikwars games as I recall.

You are in a forum battle where a fish is present. You can make it happen.
