Airplanes can manipulate the speed and direction of falling with things called wing flaps, ailerons, elevators, and rudder(s). I'm sure gliders have some sort of thing like this, but I didn't study glider mechanics in grade 6.

Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

I had made that post because you were using decent incorrectly. I think you meant descent
–noun 1. the act, process, or fact of descending
