Intro
I noticed that this forum has lots of threads with rule/stats ideas most of which get buried.
so i was thinking if there was just one thread for the rule ideas and stat ideas then non would get buried.

Rules:
6:your posts should have some rules/stats ideas in them.
7:lists always start at 6

have fun and remember :studgod:

automatic fire by IVhorseman

This is a somewhat okay concept, but very very poorly executed. Cleaned up, organized, and stickied, and we'd have a good thread.

As for rules, I'm just going to go with shameless self promotion and pop in links to my homebrew supplements that I've already made (and a quick summary because jesus i could not communicate quickly in those posts).

Automatic Weapons
When attacking with an automatic weapon, reduce the ur by one for "three round burst" mode. Make a skill roll, and add the amount you beat the UR by to your damage to compensate for multiple bullets. To fire in an arc, make a cone with as many fingers you want on one hand, and attack everything within that cone at a skill penalty equal to however many fingers you have up.

Heavy Machine guns and Suppression
Heavy MGs do 1d10 damage and have a UR of 4. When attacking multiple targets in an arc, subtract (number of fingers) from damage, not skill. Any unit ending their turn inside the firing arc is suppressed, and can't do anything other than crawl 1d4"

Fire
Anything on fire takes 1d4 damage equal to it's "fire level" (how on fire it is). If a 4 is rolled, add one to the fire level. If a 1 is rolled, subtract one from the fire level.

This one should be in the hall of fame.

What's great about the auto-fire template is that you can apply it to a rifle or a pistol, or basically any other custom ranged weapon you make.

@IV: I have some idea how I'm going to do the auto-shotgun and shardgun in Project: Reeve, but I'd like your take on what it sould do.

I haven't been following Reeve one iota. I know it's based/inspired from some book I haven't read, and that's about it.

Again, take a regular shotgun, apply the "automatic" template, and be done with it. In my games, a standard shotgun does 2d6 damage and has a 6" range.

Hasn't this been tried before, countless times? It's still a good idea. Lucky me I started tiding up Forum Battles reports from the beggining.

Would Rayhawk either sticky this or start a new one with better grammar? Please?

Yeah, it would be cool if we could get this stickied. However, this would fit a lot better in Bonus Material.

I'd rather Rayhawk start one so we could see some grammar and what Our Benevolent Lord likes in bonus material.

For shot guns i use the warmachine/hordes spray template which is a narrow wedge and is 8 inches long, basically when the shot gun is fired it can be centered on a target or it can be spread depending on how you set the spray pattern, i also use the same template for flame throwers, just with shorter range and an x2 arc.
