Actually, we said he won't, though I probably will, after my major school projects are all done.silvadream wrote:Well IV is going to put choice one on the choice two card.

Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

Before I begin, I must mention the unnamed medik card,
EDIT: And the new one!

They know about it, but they dislike the rules actually printed on it. I say just change "triagic hero" to function exactly like a heroic feat, and we're done here (maybe less armor too, but I'm leaving that up to you guys).

When I actually add the medik to the rules, my plan is to eliminate the part about having to run anywhere towards wounded soldiers - especially if there are dice rolls involved - because that did not turn out to be fun in any way. In fact, it was kind of the opposite of fun.
The medikal roll is going to be along the lines of a regular skill roll against a UR of 6. If you blow the roll, you can still save the minifig, but you have to amputate one limb or head for every point you miss the roll by. This has the nice side effect of making minifigs harder to revive too many times, because eventually they run out of limbs and then out of heads.
Lastly, the descriptive text on the first card about mediks being sadists is hilarious. I hope I was the one who wrote that originally.

That's actually a really great rule Rayhawk, that way the only way to not revive a minifig is by rolling a critical failure.
I think I might use that in one of my future battles now that I think about it . . .

As long as they haven't lost any limbs already, due to attacks or previous medikal efforts. Every missing limb makes it one point more likely that they won't survive.MasterEcabob wrote:That's actually a really great rule Rayhawk, that way the only way to not revive a minifig is by rolling a critical failure.
Of course this means I have to write in a bunch of dismemberment rules to go along with the Medikal ones, but I've got those mostly nailed down already anyway.

Is there really any reason for it not to be "no head, no life"? Creation rules already give the situation for having but one leg (1" movement), and missing a hand or hands just limits what a minifig can effectively use.Rayhawk wrote:Of course this means I have to write in a bunch of dismemberment rules to go along with the Medikal ones, but I've got those mostly nailed down already anyway.
