Ok, so I have a few questions about what parts to use for a specific weapon I want to try and make.
I'm hoping to make a wrist mounted weapon. And the only thing I can think to do is buy some vambraces from a third party dealer and glue some binos on it to make it look like a double barreled weapon. Any thoughts? Parts you would use?
Second. I'm looking for a specific peice of heavy armor and can't find exactly what set it comes with. It's a one peice armor with a high collar, shoulder plates, and one stud in the middle of the chest. I love the look of it but can't seem to find it. I'll post a picture of its not clear what I'm talking about.
Third. What do you guys do to give a minifig a little more height? I have done the 1x2 grate peice and slap it between the legs and torso. And I was also thinking of a stud on the bottom of the feet. Anything else to make them a little larger/ more beefy?
Sorry for the wall of text. Thought it would be best to just ask all I have on my mind in one Shot.

Re: Several questions about parts
For the first one I'm not sure there is a purist way to mount a weapon on a minifig's wrist, so yeah, vambraces and glue is probably easiest. Maybe using string to tie binos to the wrist?
For the second I can think of several parts it might be, can you post the pic?
Thirdly, I usually go with a 1x1 plate on each foot, but remember that armor and epaulets also add height, especially together.
Hope this helps some.

Re: Several questions about parts
Yeah that does help. Thanks man
Also this is the armor. I keep seeing it but I'm not sure what sets it comes in.

Re: Several questions about parts
part is from the alien avenger minifig, series 9
might be able to rig up something that looks like a wrist cannon but actually clips to the hand... it'd have to be a little bulky though
