1. because select members of the forum have been invited to test these rules (they are a forum based game thingy (play warcraft and you'll get a rough idea))

2. they aren't all the same. they each are different (one is a summary one is the rules and this one is the components)

this should not be in forum battles because these are the actuall rules NOT the battle itself.

(actually these rules are meant to generate tons of forum battles and a huge campaighn of awsomeness but whatever.)

They could have been in one thread in three different posts for organization.

As for Brickspace itself, you can just use regular Brikwars rules, but use 1 stud or 1/3 of a brick as an inch. Even if you do want to use a different set of rules for Brickspace, there's already 3 or 4 rules on here anyway.

i needed to subdivide components into tech levels and assighn costs (wich is their slots) so that i could allow them to desighn and build ships (as well as research new stuff)

Overcomplication in itself is not necessarily a bad thing, but you made a mistake when you showed your giant rules system to the players. When they see not just one, but three TL;DRs, they get scared and won't want to participate. You should have given us as little information as possible.

i actually picked 4 random people and sent them a pm. the idea is if they aren't interested then theres no point proceeding and making the rules better. so far. not looking good. but it is Saturnalia so..... maybey. worst case. this gets buried and forgotten.
