Postby Giant Evil Rabbit Mech » Wed Feb 04, 2009 3:23 pm

I used a few strange units before. First, I had Ideana Jones on a T-Rex. Poor Indy was takin down pretty quike, and his dino shot down by battle droids  :(. My younger brother made a giant robo moose. It was used as a transport, carreing troobs into battle. It managed to trample some people before its head was blown off. Then there was the giant evil rabbit. It was good in close-combat, and had laser guns on its shoulders. It was the nastyest unit in the game and probebly took down the most people. Its strong armor protected it and it managed to stay intact.

(I know my spellings bad but thats the point of brikwars!)

my stranges unit would be the bunny ator a giant mech that was very large, saidly it went down on the first time since it was so easy to hit and due to its heavy weaponry was the obvious target, giant mechs=no good in small field games for 2 resons: 1 you spend all your cp on it and it still is made of cardboard and 2 its easy target.

rather undermines the point of ranks.

The strangest units I've ever fielded were the 'Battle Bushes' A car chassis with a spinning bush on the front which dealt 3d20 damage to anyone it hit. These were built by a friend of mine for a lightly-planned game, therefore obviously unbalanced. However their influence hasn't been forgotten, I once built a 'Bush Gun' as an artifact. It shot bushes that couldn't move, but they could angry inch into anyone who got too close to deal 3d20 damage.

I've made a Shocking Attack Gun (based on the 40k Shokk Attack Gun) but has not tested it in battle yet. It uses a D12 table to find out what happens to the teleported minifigs.

I've got a whole pile of cavalry mounted on cows. Haven't used them in battle yet - they're going in alongside a squad of battlemechs....

I sometimes have Sigmund Freud show up and make commentary over some poor sap with a spear sticking out of his midsection. "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar..."
