Meta abilities.

These are army/hero abilities that are affected by out-of-game events. And are intended for comic effect.
(The names are all tropes and jokes)

"What the hell kinda power is heart"
Applies to a hero with a useless ability.
If another player brings up or questions the odd choice of ability then may find a good use for it without making a roll.
1: 'What sort of harm can bakery man do? What are you gonna do, bake a deadly cake?'
2: 'Yes'
*Massive cake appears above player 1's army*
1: 'I hate you'

"ORIGINAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL"
Applies to units 'inspired' or blatantly stolen from anything.
If other players notices the reference and mentions it then the unit gains all the abilities of what it's based on and can pull off stunts from the source. (So a mecha inspired by Eureka7 but without the lifting part would gain the ability to lift.)
1: 'That looks just like The Doctor!'
2: 'Yeah, here's his TARDIS.'
1: '...'

"Deus Ex machina"
If other players say you would need a miracle(or other reference to godly intervention) to save you then you may have a god descend into battle from a crane above the battle field.
1: 'HAH got you cornered! It would take a god to save you now!'
2: 'yes it would, I'll just ask Thor for a hand'
*places large crane with minifigure dangling from it over the battle*
1: 'I'm pretty sure summoning gods mid-battle is against some rule.'

Heh. Clever. This is usually what happens when I fail a heroic feat and word something hilariously.

After reading this, I spent thirty minutes trying to think of an ability that goes with breaking the fourth wall. I have failed. :(

Compulsion- the minifigure's power is to mind control other figs, but if you get enough exploding successes to roll 6d6, you may Compel your opponent like so:

Fist of the Players:
Only applies to sig-figs. Said figures can call down the fist of whoever they represent to crush their enemies, or give them cool stuff. It is their fist too, after all.

Well given that's the entire point of this...
EG: all abilities are activated only by player actions unrelated or tangentially related to the game.


"Breaking the forth wall"
Applies: If a player mentions that these meta rules seem to be breaking the forth-wall or brings up the forth-wall due to other game events.
Action: Any space limit on the battle field is removed! All bricks and constructions you own are now part of the game! (Minifigures other than those in the battle count as bricks and are for all intensive porpoises are dead.)

"For all intensive porpoises"
Applies: when the player successful gets a groan from a sea-mammal related pun.
Action: Summon-bigger-fish but with a sea-mammal.

Applies: When a player tries to rules lawyer his/her way into a boring and dumb win.
Effect: Go into your closet, and throw as many jackets as is appropriate onto the battlefield. All units touching the jackets are dead forever.

Fuck a fuckin' shitty ass bitch!
Applies: When a younger player is swearing so much that it gets annoying and pointless.
Effect: Player has to wash his hero's mouth out with soap.

Antway if you can get him to believe something he has to look up, You are allowed to Chuck the hero off the battlefield.
CONDITION: The 'factoid' has to be false.

Yeah, September 2013 is a long time aways. Someone could have a building fall on them, or die of ass cancer, or get employed!

Earthquake!
Trigger: some asshole bumps into the table, whether or not they're involved in the game - anyone else may shout "EARTHQUAKE!" to engage it.
Effect: everything that falls over is disrupted; any pieces that fell off are detached; any fliers whose supports came crashing down mysteriously crash. Had your hero on a precarious ledge? uh-oh.
