The Hobbit. *warning, may contain spoilers!*

What did you think? Good, bad?

I personally really liked it. I wish they had added he whole Misty Mountains song, but I really like the addition ofAzog. Inaway, it fills up the empty space of there traveling, and it doesn't interfere with the story, which was pretty close. I also liked Radagast the Brown.

I actually liked how they added a good deal of new characters and features without screwing it up. I noticed that it seemed to be more geared toward children than LOTR, but any adult would like it as well. I personally thought it was great.

Yes, because decapitaion, people being burned up, war, and seeing someone's stomach sliced open is defiantly more appropriate for children. Plus its rating of PG-13

Anyways, I also liked the movie, it was really cool. I went with a group of around, 14 people, and it was a blast.

Love The Hobbit, So much better than LOTR.
Though I feel the Dwarves were under-developed and so Fili's and Kili's deaths weren't very sad since the Battle Of Five Armies wasn't really fleshed out due to Bilbo getting knocked out.
Definitely one of my favorite books.

It was ok, but they had added action scenes where none were needed to flesh it all out, ie the mountain trolls (it was Bilbos moment to shine, really) and the stone giants that were only mentioned in a line or two in the books. But if they will stretch it to three movies, they need to do that I guess. I had fun in the cinema, was well worth the time and money.

It was a great movie. The trolls were lulz. And they things they added made it cooler, I think.

It was good. Been a while since I last read the Hobbit, but I have read through it three times. The only thing I saw that was missing was the fact that they didn't get any new penises in Rivendale. I seem to recall them waking up in the cave because the Goblins were grabbing the penises.

The movie was good. It was less serious than LOTR, which made for a fun movie to watch. The only thing I didn't like was that it easily could have been cut to a much shorter runtime and still would have had just as much content. Some parts went on for far too long.

I enjoyed the opening scene, the dwaves vs. goblins battle scene and the dwarves in general.

the concept behind the dwarvish kingdom is the movies saving grace, and pretty much everything else about it was shitty.

Didn't really feel that it was interesting. But I feel that way towards any fantasy tale that doesn't have obvious psychological/philosophical/occult underpinnings.. they just seem too plain, too simple. boring.
