While the site has been down for me, I have been playing with a news channel idea as a means of introducing Soap Opera threads in the future.

So I present to you Al Ekk News, from the Technocratic Caliphate of Urk:

I'm a much bigger fan of FALX news.

I am trying to think of what else to put for Al Ekk News...

BTW I am trying to think up of ideas on how to make use of all the Series 8 cheerleaders I now have. You guys in the UK do know that Tesco are selling off some Lego sets at reduced prices, inc series 8 minifigs at £0.98 each, right?

Oh I wish, but I just do not have the set up or the ability to do stop motion videos. Others on here do, though, so if they wanna give this a shot, they're perfectly welcome to.

You know what would be cool? If there were downloadable templates for doing FALX News (Fox News piss take I guess) and Al Ekk News (deliberately ribbing Al Jazeera I have to admit) images for everyone to use. If someone can convert my .xcf template file to .psd I would gladly make it available...

I guess save it as .psd in the gimp then get it to someone with Photoshop to double check it and remove any errors
