A) yes. I will be wearing protective mask gear and stuff
B) Ace Hardware.

I guess I also meant isn't it dangerous to have around your mouth or nose...and since you're making a helmet with it...

No, that's fair. I am a wussy. We had a nerf thing going for a minute here. Someone wanted to do airsoft or paintball instead. We don't have anything going anymore. Pain sucks.

I had some friends that did some full contact metal to metal stuff. I think it was called SCA but I might be confusing that for something else. There's a story about an inverted cup in there. Nasty stuff. Anyway, much as I enjoy shooting my friends with nerf darts and beating them with boffer swords, this sort of metal on metal LARP is the only kind I can respect. I've been to a couple of others, both of the RP variety and the boffer sword variety. They were filled with pretentious douchedom and I hated each agonizing moment. I'd have left were I not such a nice guy. I had a friend who dragged me along. I guess he saw something I didn't. Might've been the girls. One of the LARPs we went to was a damn Changeling LARP at a nearby "elite" college.

In any case, foam for cosplay is still ok. Lightweight and easy to shape. Just like with cardboard, though, leave yourself gaps in the armor. If you've ever worn cardboard or foam armor before, you know how ridonkulously hot it can get.

I should hope not. I just hopped on the "make your own army" train a while back. Brikboyz still uses some star wars stuff, but not as star wars stuff if you know what I mean.

I pride myself in being the star wars expert of our little group irl, although I probably don't know much at all in the big scheme of things.

I certainly hope not!

Then It would be proof that I have multiple personality syndrome, or schizophrenia, or something!

I prefer to simply speculate! :D

Aslo, in response to your question about fiberglass dangers, I'm pretty sure it's fine once it hardens. I'm still not sure about doing it on the inside, but it was suggested, I'll have to ask for greater detail.

I still have a rather large army of clones and droids, as well as some imperials. My few rebels have mostly been scrapped to make new MOCs though.
