Hey, I'm a n00b here and I've got a question and I'm not sure which forum to put it in. I've got about 8 of the 2009 mars mission minifigures and I want to build an army without the generic star wars droids and stuff, how can I trick them out and what weapons would you think would best match them? Naturally this army will grow overtime, but I'd like to start off with these guys. Another thing, I'm only thirteen so the oldest set I have is Lord Vladeks castle from knights kingdomII so I may not have as many OT pieces or stuff from insectoids and frozen earth and life on mars stuff.

You don't need OT pieces to build a cool army.

In fact, you can be so bold as to pick your own signature weapon for your army. Take the ZMC, their trademark is having Green Transparent Chainsaws and guns, just like the ASE has the easy to build Assyrian Laser Rifle.

As for your guys, I can't say for what looks good with them. Perhaps give the aristocratic or high ranking ones capes or epaulettes? Or give them backpacks filled with skulls of their enemies.

Hmmm... I think that a cape or two would be good for distinguishing Ranks, and a change of visor color, but I would like to equip the commando with an OTC and a OT shield for awesomeness. But I think that I'll try to put on a signature color and throw in a few jetpack troopers.... Thanks Silver!
