Five bucks says Goldy in the upper right is a chase figure. God Damnit.
You'd almost think the people who came up with the blind-packed Minifigures idea did it specifically as a means of trolling AFOLs.
I'm just surprised it took this many Series for them to do it.
Any idea how rare it is? One per box, or less?

I'm army-building those paintball people. If nothing else those guns look good as some sort of experimental laser/chemical weaponry of some sort. The guy himself looks militaristic enough that I could maybe use him as some sort of biohazard unit or something.
George Washington deserves honorable mention as it has taken TLG long enough to release colonial hair.
The lego iPhone just has to have pink icons on it, meaning that if I want to use it for my scientists they'll look gäy. Lost money there TLG.
Goldilocks in the right corner may or may not be useful. But considering there will only be 5000-10000 in the world it will probably not be worth it.

I don't have any secret insider info (not that I would share it if I did), but Brothers-brick is saying there will be 5,000 worldwide.
Except for the part about coming up with this line as a way to troll you. That probably was secret insider info, but I've been pretty public about it in the past.

The chicken suit guy is for trolling ROBLOX programmers.

Ha, sorry, I didn't mean to imply I was asking for insider info. I'm just too lazy to go look at other sites, I figured someone would know more than me.
Fortunately, I don't care about gold leprechauns and I've never cared about getting all of a series... I'm just curious about the change. For example- is the packaging changing to something impalpable? Cause the top hat will stick right out.
If they REALLY want to troll the hell out of people, release a line with at least two normal figures that feel exactly the same from outside the pouch and then make one of THOSE a metallic chase in the same series.
That would be pretty damn funny.

I am so going to buy Sauron, whatever LotR set he will be in. (Just saw him in a video of the Lego LotR game.)
If you're not into Metal you are not my friend!

That girl in the upper left has a racist propaganda book about "Oranges and Peaches".
Could it be that there is a yet undiscovered mythical race of oranges?

The Medusa and iPhone girl both have slim waists. Lego is becoming Baribe, it would seem.
An army marches on its stomach, and its favorite food is fudge.
