I wish they'd include some of those trees, lol. I can always use more scenery. I like the figs, but the designs are pretty simplistic, although I still like that little cart.

What do you want to bet that when the Balrog comes out, it's all Bionicle / Hero Factory style.
Hey, it's not POOP, I'd buy it. Technic/Bionicle/Hero Factory: it's all Lego, man, it's all groovy.

This line is kind of strange. It's very reminiscent of the 80s and 90s castle, but with a few newer pieces thrown in (patterned bricks, cheese slopes). I kind of like it, but it seems like a weird decision to take a step back in terms of appearance. I guess they're trying to separate it from the LotR line by making it look more "Lego-ish".
On another note, I thought we'd have to wait a lot longer to get armour for the new horses. Glad to see I was wrong. It does look a bit Playmobil-ish, though. Also, pearl gold claymore.

Also, why would you not link to the new Galaxy Squad stuff?

I don't like the Brain-bug, it's legs look way too flimsy.

Well, keep in mind that the aliens seem to have biomechanical vehicles. Have you ever seen an ant, or a daddy long legs?
Makes sense to me. As for the actual Lego version, It looks like it's on wheels, and that the legs move when you roll it. I actually prefer that, because switching that function out for posable legs on a creature that scuttles that low to the ground would be a waste.

I keep thinking of these insectoids as allies of the pwnies. In any case, I'll probably keep buying Galaxy Squad.

I really like the look of the new castle sets and the Galaxy Squad stuff looks pretty cool, but I'm not sure that I've seen a bug thing that has impressed me yet.

Man, Lego does everything they can to kill my wallet...
Everything about that castle line looks fantastic. I'll definitely be getting some; I only have two crown knights and now I can have a great force of them. Better start making more shelves.

How about the old Insectioid line? I wonder how closely related the two are.

So far, only the Lone Ranger stuff has really caught my eye. I can mix it up with the Pharaohs Quest and Indiana Jones stuff (yeah, I have already made myself a heretic by mixing peach and yellow without giving it a second thought).

Hmm...
I do like the looks of the new LOTR Corsair ship - King of the Dead would make a great Wight Lord for an Undead Army, something useful OTHER than more zombies/skeletons/vampires.
I have to see what will happen, but as always, there are more sets I want than my budget can afford.
Lucky for me, my wife likes Lego, and is okay with me buying more as long as I don't kill the budget.
