Is it just me or are the LEGO boxes still becoming bigger and bigger? I got two of the Clayface sets in the mail today and they were about twice the size I expected. ( :twss: )

Yeah, I'm noticing this as well. Picked up the Lego City Mining Team box the other day. You could have fit all the parts in a box half that size. I think they're doing that on purpose so any damage to the box is less likely to damage the contents.

Possibly. Although the first time I remarked it I believe stubby said it was also a marketing strategy.

When people see a bigger box for a price they think is lower than the volume would indicate, they think they are getting good value for the money.
Stupid muggles, can figure out price per part.

Yeah, prices seem to have gone up along with the size of the box... I think it may have to do with the minifigs becoming more expensive to produce, I like the general evolution of them but some are just plainly overdesigned.

Like that time they created a hairpiece for balding minifigs, when they could've just print the hair on the back of their heads?

I'm willing to bet Roadhog will be coming soon, along with Junkrat.
