No, the characters are 2-d and story is not surprising at all. The voice acting is meh-nice but I wouldn't watch it. It could ruin the theme for you.Colette wrote:I remember reading an illustrated storybook about the Lego Arctic Theme when I was young and always wondering if those sets in the book actually existed. I learned since that they were real sets thanks to Eurobricks, and it's that same attraction to stories involving lego that has pulled me to brikwars and maybe to ninjago (is the latter worth watching?).

I thought the first season was okay (with the skeletons and all), but season 2 with serpentine and such did ruin it.Predator wrote:No, the characters are 2-d and story is not surprising at all. Re: The official LOOT topic
Sounds sad- it sounded like it had potential. I remember writing a brik-fiction combining Ninjago and corrupt politicians and leaving it halfway through. Maybe I should continue.Ben-Jammin wrote:I thought the first season was okay (with the skeletons and all), but season 2 with serpentine and such did ruin it.Predator wrote:No, the characters are 2-d and story is not surprising at all. Re: The official LOOT topic
Season 1 was by far the best season, but still, a 2 dimensional story and 2 dimensional characters! I really can't stand that! A character needs to have at least 3 attributes! I give you an example, but it's Pwny, so spoiler'd:
You see, that's how 2d the ninjago characters really are compared to a cartoon.

But yeah it was awesome, but not as awesome as Ice Planet which I dream of being revisited by Lego.

Stumbled across a huge cache of Series 7 minifigs, walked away with 8 packs- 8 for 8 on Galaxy Patrols.

Re: The official LOOT topic
A friend of mine had left his Legos at my house for like over a year. He left them after playing Brikwars at my house one and just never asked for them back. When I moved out a month or so ago, he just told me I could have them. Major swag, as he had quite a few good pieces, and no shortage of minifigs. I spent the weekend assimilating them into the horde, as well as picking out all the Megablocks.
