Was pleasantly surprised when I saw these out in my local Wal-to-WalMart. Couldn't resist.

Lucky you, I've been to Target three fucking times in the last month looking for those fuckers and still can't find any. Even Amazon only had them from third-party sellers for like 30usd. :fist:

While Super Megaforce/Gokaiger was sorta pirate-themed, the rangers of that season also had the ability to morph into past ranger forms.
Thus they released some older rangers along with the newer ones (mostly red rangers and 6th rangers).
The ranger I bought had his debut in Lightspeed Rescue originally.

Huh, shame. I have seen heaps of these sets across stores like Target and Big W.

I'm sure my local Galactic Imperial Outpo-I mean Walmart, has them, but I don't have a car or driver's license yet.

Now I get behind why folks are importing these pricey figs from Japan. Articulation is great and it comes with quite some accessories.

Comparison with the fig I bought a while ago.

Make a scene using all those snakes as Kai's intestines.

I periodically pick up Mega Bloks sets to see how they're doing now that Mattel bought the company.

Update: still crappy. A bunch of molding flaws in this set mean that it can't actually be assembled without the pieces popping apart. Nothing new there. Also, the chain doesn't have any way to attach to anything. Nothing new there either; same chain from the Dragons line in 2002.

The hair is removable but attaches with a weird rubber pin rather than a stud. I might be able to use it on a minifig head if I go in with some wire clippers and perform some surgery on it; hard to tell until then. The head is slightly too large for lego hair, for sure.

My main interest in this set is the purple skulls and candles. These seem to work fine, and the skulls even fit on minifig bodies although they're a little small. The candles could definitely come in handy in a lego scene if I get enough of them.

Those candles could be great for a Diemon-summoning circle.
