Re: The official LOOT topic
Woo loot.
I got my bonus from work. My wife spent half, and said I can do "whatever I want" with the other half. I bought the Uruk-Hai army set from the LOTR range, and Razcal's Glider from Chima. The glider was on sale for $8 at the local store, figured I would pick it up and see what was what. Kind of like the Raven-dude, but the deep purple bricks are really awesome. I'm not too sure about most of the LOTR sets. At least the human torsos in this range can usually be "unpeachified" by giving them yellow hands, but I'm used to all Lego castle-type sets having hook pieces on the insides to mount extra weaponry onto...

Re: The official LOOT topic
Loot!
A friend of mine called me last sunday asking if i had 100€ to spare. He was at a flea market where a cardboard box full of Lego was offered to
him for that price (down from 150€). He doesn't know shit about Lego but sounded rather excited so i gave my ok to buy it for me. Three days
later i got this:
I have not had time to go through it thoroughly but apparently my deal includes:
Boxed sets:
3053-1: Emperor's Stronghold
6083-2: Samurai Stronghold
3052-1: Ninja Fire Fortress
3051-1: Blaze Attack
6045-1: Ninja Surprise
Opened boxes:
6013 Samurai Swordsman
4805-1: Ninja Knights
3050-1: Shanghai Surprise
6093-1: Flying Ninja Fortress
6089-1: Stone Tower Bridge
6088-1: Robber's Retreat
Sets with instructions:
7110-1: Landspeeder (yellow Luke Skywalker and Obi Wan!)
5978-1: Sphinx Secret Surprise
2152-1: Robo Raptor
6433: Coast Watch
6452: Mini Rocket Launcher
6836-1: V-Wing Fighter
6903-1: Bug Blaster
6572-1: Wind Runners
6969-1: Celestial Stinger (instructions and some parts of the ship)
6977-1: Arachnoid Star Base (instructions and some parts of the ship)
+MOAR: some Technic racers and base plates and some parts of sets 358 and 357/570 from 1973!
I might sell off most of it.

Re: The official LOOT topic
That's just utterly insane. If you sell 1 of the bigger samurai sets, you might already have your money back. It's a good thing you posted a picture, or I wouldn't have believed you. In fact I still find it hard to believe. Just take a look at those old Ninja sets' prices on BrickLink, you're ready to make a fortune

Now that's some fuckin' loot! You owe your friend enough drinks to give him alcohol poisoning.
