I got it for around $15 on amazon. It's normally $20 and I think it's worth it at that price, but it's gone on sale a couple times if you want to wait and save a couple bucks.Silent-sigfig wrote:How much was this one? I see lots of parts I like.Lord Trionx wrote:I got these two, great sets:

It's been a long time since i bought anything. Treated me to this:
It's pretty awesome in its own right. Bought it for the minifig and got a lot of cool parts.

I picked up this set last week at Target. http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Captain-Amer ... ng=listing
Honestly, I only bought it for the vehicle. I really liked all that sand green and how it actually looks like an army APC. I put the stickers on it (I always put together the official model "Because" before I do anything personal with the parts) but I might remove them later.
I really wish I had like $60 lying around so I could buy multiples and take the wheels and use them on the MOC tanks I have that, right now, are just "hover tanks." Of course, I could just go to Bricklink and specifically look for the wheels/suspension gear.

Got this guy. Comes with some sweet parts so i am going to get the others, too. I am not sold on the small ball joints yet though. They offer less articulation than the large ones.

Re: The official LOOT topic
PaB wall at MoA had some MUST HAVE pieces! I had a couple hours to spare so I packed in a small cup as tight as ever.
100 pieces on just the first layer of little 1x1s which filled the final gap between the rim and the lid!
102 on the second layer
72 on the third layer
227 in the rest of the cup; it all got jumbled up by then
Grand total: 501 pieces!
The little sign at the store says you can get approximately 125 - 175 in there...pshh... newbs!
The pieces I wanted a fuckton of were the travesty bricks and computer consoles; the rest was gravy and filling!

I'm not sure I'll be able to go to the lego store in Paris, it's in a really hard to find place.
Edit: no it's not, it's in a shopping centre only seven kilometers from my hotel

I've been to the Parisian Lego store. It was cool, except for all the French people.loafofcheese wrote:I'm not sure I'll be able to go to the lego store in Paris, it's in a really hard to find place.
