Just seen this go down to £10.99 at Amazon UK (from about £20 on my wish list), so you grabbing it for $5 CA (about £3?) is a bloody good bargain.

I said it was marked down $5, not marked down to $5. I wish they were that cheap.

Maybe I am used to Tesco Lego sales right now?
Anyway, You think £11 UKP is still a good price for it?

Compare it to the SW sets of similar size, man. Not to mention those Hashashin and Dastan are incredibly cool. I'd grab several of those if I found them for that kinda price.
Edit: though I guess you can find it cheaper on Bricklink. Derp.

Hey, as long as I can find it for less than MSRP, I'm happy. I definitely would have picked up Jabba's Palace if it weren't for the overdose of custom-moulded minifigs that are completely useless to me. I was considering buying it and then selling the minifigs on Bricklink or Ebay (because I'm pretty sure you could get like half of the price back on those things alone), but I probably wouldn't end up doing it. I am going to miss those tan arches and dark tan roof pieces, though.

The shop where I buy most of my sets still had these available for online order even though they were no longer in the racks:
The figs are nice, the mech is okay but I bought it mostly for the parts. I'll probably try to use the parts to create some sort of Inquistadore hardsuit, or to make the arms of the Samurai mech longer.
I like brick-built Lego animals so this one's a keeper and the set also offers interesting inspiration on how to make your own creatures. Beaky here will probably be a support creature for the Eagle knights or the Elves.

He is, though I changed his appearance already like I did with the little guys in the samurai mech set. It's not very manly for the Ninjago's to always be fighting midgets.

At this point you're probably the only member of this board who doesn't have that set yet, so get to it!
