As far as I know, it has always been Brickarms policy to throw in a free thing for every twenty five bucks of stuff you order. Its how I got a lot of the neat stuff they won't just sell off the site, like camo-paint weapons and glow in the dark stuff.

Then Minifigsforlife, as a UK supplier, must be continuing the policy as $25 worth of stuff costs around £10-£12.50 here even before VAT.

I like this policy even though it might cost me more in the long run...

Bought some nice shelves and put them on the wall today. Finally, i have a place to put my mocs and sets on display/storage.
And the glas desk below the shelves is for building, playing and hosting forum battles for an indefenite amount of time.
It's so good to have your own hobby room, yay!

I have even more shelves, one is taken by my CD's, the other by a crapload of books, the final one by a crapton of books belonging to my sister which she claims she can't find space for :fist:

I wish I had a room for a workbench :(

I tried to convince my mother to let me set up in the guest room but she doesn't want sawdust and machinist's oil everywhere :fist: I even offered to cover up the floor and the first five inches of the wall with some plastic that we could remove when we do have guests, but nope, apparently a cheap tarp & some tools in a room that is only used maybe three times a year is still far too much of an eyesore to tolerate!

Yeah, for some reason occasional guests are more important than the actual inhabitants of a house. I know the problem.

My sister isn't even obnoxious or living at home anymore though, she simply has hobbies that take even more space than mine (brewing), and her books haven't moved since the first time she moved out of her appartment. She also has a crapton of books, and when I say a crapton, I do mean a crapton

That's a pretty sexy display Apollyon!

I'm wall-to-wall surrounded by my plastic goodies... my room, my rules, feels good man.

Nice space, Apollyon. I've been thinking of trying something similar. I've got some of my bigger stuff rammed onto bookshelves now. Only problem is, cleaning the damn dust off.

:protip: Use a hairdryer. I know it will look weird using a hairdryer on your MOC's, but trust me.

A hairdryer? Hm. Well, I'll give it a shot.

A hairdryer? Huh... never tried that one. Those air-in-a-can things kind of work, but tend to make more of a mess. I'll give the hairdryer a try and see what happens. Thanks for the info.
