Lego really went through some weird phases before it got into its stride in the early 2000's. Anyway, not to hijack the loot topic, I swear this will be my last post on the matter.

Well that was easy. Unfortunately it is not perfect. Too much friction for the treads to move without breaking, but I can see how it would work well with the rubberised one piece tracks. I have some ideas that could fix this, but given technic tracks propensity towards breaking regardless, I could live with fixed tracks.

Just fit some small gears in the corners, would that work?

L00T from Manchester this time. More PAB parts, Including a key part that I was out of that gets used in the MkII gun turrets I have on practically every model. 5e D&D starter set is due to my brothers wanting to play, I figured it'd give them something to get there teeth into. Tales from the Loop may be the standout prize here, I know little about the system, but the artwork alone has won me over.

Found this a few days ago and bought it. Hated the film, loved the set.

Honestly, I'm not even gonna deny that.
My parents say the same thing about their 1e and AD&D.

You hated the best Star Wars film yet? Sad.

The BEST??
Heck, even the prequels themselves are almost better than R1 (At least they were a bit more cheerful).
It was badly scripted, badly cast, badly acted and the CGI was bullshit.
Not trying to have a go at you, I just really hated that film.
At first I thought there were way too many humans in it, and then when I saw some CGI aliens, I suddenly wished the humans were back again.
So...yeah. The ending wasn't TOO bad though (By the ending I meant the Darth Vader scene, which was good, but CGI lea wasn't perfect (To me, they should have just left her out, and definitely should have excluded Tarkin. They just didn't add anything to the film, they were way to clunky) but everyone's deaths were meaningless. They were just too similar and quick, and we never got to know the characters (The only one I actually pitied was the Imperial customs officer on Scarif!) enough to feel for them.
I mean, seriously, it just wasn't up to much.
No offence Skip

There is no need to be apologetic about not having good taste.

Actually no, I take that back. You really should apologise.

Recuts & reshoots did not do much favor to it.

I wouldn't mind talking about r1 or space wars in general but also let's try to keep the haul thread on track.

Lol its fine we are allowed our own opinions. I have to say though, I felt more for the droves of Imperials that where killed rather more so than the main characters. k2-s0 had the most character to him, and he was a droid XD.

Just think about it, all those storm troopers that where killed, what if they all had wives, children.

The Rebel Alliance is a father killing terrorist group! And yeah, I think everyone's favourite scene was Darth cutting through Rebels. But I'm always rooting for the Imperial/Empire faction in a story. I feel empires are often portrayed as more evil than they are. (Well in the Star Wars Empires case it truly was evil).
