Storm Eagle
One of the many technological prides of Bavaria, the Storm Eagle mechsuit is based on the often used medium-sized chassis that was made popular by the 'Desolator' and 'Annihilator' class suits:
It is armed with quadruple beamlances and a high-powered boost engine that allows it to do jumps and lunges on the battlefield for rapid relocation.

WOW. I am a massive fan of this thing, everything from the jumpjet backpack to the pseudo-feathers on the arms to the talons on the feet make this thing totally sweet. Almost reminds me of a Tengu.

I would if I could, or maybe use it to get into set designstubby wrote:Can you please email this to me three years ago so I can show it to the Chima product development guys
(because you need no qualifications for that apart from cool MOCs, right? Right? )

I saw a job posting for it, and it's pretty much that + CAD skillsZahru II wrote:I would if I could, or maybe use it to get into set designstubby wrote:Can you please email this to me three years ago so I can show it to the Chima product development guys

Re: Storm Eagle
Do you want a set design job? They post openings all the time, I just figured nobody wants them because you have to move to Denmark.
They trick you because the qualifications are cool MOCs, but then you get to work and find out the job is actually 90% calculating element costs down to the hundredth of a cent and trying to juggle parts budgets.

Re: Storm Eagle
Funnily enough, my roommate recently applied for a job as a set designer.
As for the Eagle, it's boss. The feet are a little big for my taste, but if you're going for a dreadnought kind of vibe they work great.

Re: Storm Eagle
I have been working with a limited inventory (I'm used to making 'budget cuts' on MOCs) so that doesn't sound bad. But the fact that it's not a completely lost cause is nice.stubby wrote: the job is actually 90% calculating element costs down to the hundredth of a cent and trying to juggle parts budgets.
Re: Storm Eagle
As somebody with a limited collection of parts, I kinda do that already. Though, the whole 'moving to Denmark' thing does kinda kill it for me.stubby wrote:They trick you because the qualifications are cool MOCs, but then you get to work and find out the job is actually 90% calculating element costs down to the hundredth of a cent and trying to juggle parts budgets.

Of all the places you could move to, there are definitely worse options than Denmark. Set designing has also always been a dream of mine though.Gungnir wrote:As somebody with a limited collection of parts, I kinda do that already.
