Finally after staying up for another 3.5 hours after previous post i have finished it (the time is 1:56 am)

For the "Normal" scale battles in your water supp, I think this place may help: http://www.io.com/~sj/PirateGame.html

It's really complicated, but is very similar to brikwars and deals entirely with pirate ships. It has allot of neat ideas that could be well meshed into this or just a normal game of brikwars (as if there is such a thing)
