I thought gelatinous cubes were green? The models you've posted so far are pretty cool, but the look a little... gray. So I'd be interested to see one in green.

I agree about the grayness, thats why I tried a yellow one. Its made even worse by the fact that the skeleton is white.

Well I did make a green one but I can't get my FTP program to upload it. Its been acting weird lately. Sometimes I need to restart it 5 times to get one upload to go through. Maybe its Comcast's fault.

I'll try tomorrow... Oh hey look! it worked... 30 tries later

I like this one, thanks for forcing me to do a green one. :)

The original was gray because thats the color of bricks I got from Flashhawk.

Nice gelatinous cube, it looks nicer in green (and more gelatinous, of course)

Thanks.

Weird, Comcast deleted the image. Then it took me 4 more tries to get it back up. I seriously need to hit someone over there.

I think it looks better, too. Awesome job.

Ok, since G2 did not post his attempts but send em to me (and that quite some time ago, but i didnt had the time to put them up) here they are:
Nr. 1
Image
Nr. 2
Image
Nr. 3
Image
Nr. 4
Image

There aren`t green either, but i don't think anyway that these cubes were green... i don't think i read anything about that in the fluff...

But nevertheless it looks cool that way too... "totally greeen my friend!!" :D

To G2 renders: i think i like Nr.2 the best, but the renderstyle G2 uses makes it nearly impossible to cut the cube out of the background... Maybe you can give me higher resolution pal?

Thanks all

Set the magic wand selector Tolerance down to 1.

2 and 4 look good. 2 is more jello-ie I suppose.

The transparency is really hard to deal with.
