Section 5 is done. I'll put in foliage later, it's easier to build without palm trees in the way.

Oh shit, 2 more pics.
That little staircase will go down through the rocks to the lower elevation. As I'm building this I find I'm thinking of it in the same way I thought of making CS:S and CS:GO maps, you know, thinking about paths and choke points and stuff.

Huh, never thought of looking at battlefield-building that way, but that's a good idea. I'm going to be making a huge battlefield today out of a shitton of leftover cardboard sheets (not enough Lego on hand for what I want to do), and using CS maps as inspiration sounds like a great idea.

I hit a wall (money) and haven't done much lately. But this shit isn't forgotten. A friend of mine said she might give me some bricks, maybe she'll come through. Not sure though. In about 2 months my finances should be better and I can go back to wasting money on Lego. I've spent about $300 on this so far between bulk PAB shit, 4 baseplates, and BrickLink orders for both IM soldiers and the terrain.
