Official Lego Voltron

Postby Omega Prime » Thu Aug 03, 2017 11:31 pm

Lego's making an official set of Voltron, which is amazing! Do you think they're going to fuck this up?

"Activate Interlocks,
Dynatherms Connected,
Infracells Up,
Megathrusters are Go!"

"Let's Go Voltron Force!!"

It is either going to be unobtanium after launch, or wallet destroyingly expensive. Quite probably both.

I feel like that's going to be market dependent. GoLion never aired here so hardly anyone cared for it getting greenlit.

Think I'll just grab it because I'd like to know how TLG would pull off combiner mechs that aren't alternative builds. On the same note, seeing a Lego Daizyujin/Dino Megazord would be cool if TLG decides to pick that project up.

Honestly, it would be awesome if Lego would price this the way the old Voltron figures were done: Each 'Lion' sold separately. Buy all five to get the finished Voltron. It would spread the cost around a little and make it more affordable, but I suppose that isn't going to happen. :P
