I don't think the MTT is still available.
don't get the AT-At, either the LAAT ot ATTE, probably LAAT, and if you have more money get some clone battlepacks.

A Train! Why should he get a train. I really don´t see the fun in those train sets except for train heists and tieing sombody to the tracks or let it derail but that´ll get bored after a while to. IMO if you like the train sets so much just go and buy those miniature trains. But that´s just my opinion.

It also depends on what you want right now and what you think will be useful in the future. I bought the Star Destroyer because it was half price, meaning the price per piece ratio was good, I use alot of grey, and I have a project in the back of my mind that will use most of those pieces.

If your building an army, buy sets with as many minifigs that you need. The indy chase set has 3 germans and parts for vehicles. (Also, I think they might be on sale if they are still on the lego site)

Just figure what you think you'll get the most use out of.

it depends, if you want a huge and awesome spaceship, get the star destroyer, if you're trying to build an army then get a whole lot of indiana jones, if you want a cool village to ravage with bloodshed then get the medieval village, trains are good for train heists but not much more, pirate ship is also cool but the giant walkers are overpriced. the MTT is cool too as it has a small army within a heavily armored shell

Yeah, those are definitely the two I would suggest. The Raiders of the Lost Arc flying wing also looks pretty cool, and it also has the distinction of being one of the first warplanes LEGO has ever made. Johnny Thunder crap does not count.

Regardless, all three of those sets are extremely distinctive, and I would expect all of them to be highly sought-after in years to come. The Market in particular I expect to sell out rather quickly.
