Sure, Nat mentioned it earlier... you can buy it at Idunnowhere.net. I'm kinda disapproving asking money for a moc instruction.

Oh, I don't know. If I could get my hands on some Instructions for stuff I'd be interested. I think instructions help with the learning process.

Yeah, but many people upload howtos for free to use and take. Charging a price for it feels a bit elitist for me.

I remember her talking about having to buy the enormously expensive gear treads to connect the arms and the legs to the torso.

I don't want to get sued.

But if you want to see how he did stuff, look in these galleries for some hints:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=423709

If those had been around when I first tried to build one of these in 2004 I would probably have succeeded. But they weren't; there was only a defunct website with some detail of the joints and stuff.

You need a lot of those big gears though. Take a look at the hips:

Two there, plus one more for each leg, plus another one which goes right above this component for the waist, and then two more for the shoulders.

:necro: but I don't care.

There is only one way to kill this thing.

6) Let the Assyrians find out there's a high-value target on the most well-guarded of your planets.
7) Wait for AC to show up
8) As an epic battle rages (actually, as the thing is massacring your troops in job lots), begin accelerating asteroids toward the planet. LOTS and LOTS of very BIG asteroids.
9) Annihilate planet, along with whatever target was bait, and the 50 or so left of your original 50,000 troops there.
10) Hope the Assyrians don't have another one.
This should be in the Rulebook somewhere:

Or just use hundreds of cheap anti-tank units with rocket launchers and aim for the legs, and then continue to systematically dismantle it in that manner.

No, even easier, get hundreds of tiny drones that the AC will have trouble even looking at, and zerg rush the thing. If you're smart you should be able to destroy it within turns.

She made the gun shorter due to irresolvable weight issues.

What would be awesome, though, would be a to-scale OTC for this monster.
