Every so often someone asks this question, and seeing as this forum has one of the largest concentration of military SHIPS on the i'NET, we should expect it.
This is a good guide on the basics of ship building
This gallery is two pages of gorgeous space MOCs, including several large ships and some in the style of Star Blazers
This is a source of schematics for Star Blazers, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek (And in my opinion 3402 pieces of Nerdgasm material)
A decent source, mainly using for size comparison, but has lots of different ships from many sources[/url]

I found a lot of the advice useful though, everything he says can be applied to any ships.Daniel wrote:While I had not intended to build a ship the size the first link discribes, it was very interesting to read the ideas and concerns being written about.
The one ship example he used is 12 feet in length. 12 feet.
It would not fit in most of the rooms in my house.

I suffered from that problemDaniel wrote:Oh I agree. I think pointing out the "Box" issue and ideas how to avoid or disguise it for example was great. That is true even for smaller MOCs. Not just ships.dilanski wrote:
