Poor grammar aside, Lego is pretty damn expensive. Collections are things that are ammassed over years and childhoods, not something a new Brikwarrior (particularily one that has no income, like, say, a teenager) can throw together quickly. This is really an issue with all tabletop games but board games, accessiblity. :plasticrack: / painting kits / metal minis are all bloody expensive, and are often overwhelming to the newcomer, exp. when combined with costly rulebooks.
Jumping into Pathfinder with pirated .PDFs still ended up costing me 100bux, and thats more or less typical for a hobby. Part of the awesomeness of Brikwars is that the rules are simple enough to remember, and materials are very easy to aquire.

This is a great point to keep in mind. This is even more important when you want older, out of print minifigures. The costs can make it hard to gather up more than small squads.Keldoclock wrote:Poor grammar aside, Lego is pretty damn expensive. We use what we have and have fun with the game. That is the important thing to focus on.

Perhaps the´re of any use if the weapons are not craptastic and don´t fit in a real minifig´s hands

Activision does not really "own" Blizzard.
Vivendi Games, a division of Vivendi Universal, owned Blizzard entertainment as well as Sierra
Back in 2007/2008 (before Wrath of the Lich King for you Warcraft fans), Vivendi merged with Activision (but remained the majority shareholder) and merged it with Blizzard. Vivendi is still the majority shareholder though.
Blizzard's management remained unchanged and they're still completely responsible for producing their own games, they just get their paychecks from "Activision-Blizzard" instead of just "Blizzard"

I said "no" to drugs, but they just wouldn't listen...
