The HUGE Mega Bloks haul.

I'm still digging through the massive collection of Mega Bloks Dragons sets that I recently purchased and I must say that I'm completely amazed at just what is in those storage crates.
Fortunately quite a few of the set instruction books were included with the deal or else I would be having a very hard time trying to make sense of everything.
In no partcular order the set books I have are for : -

9891 Dragons Krystal Wars Vorgan Stronghold

9885 Dragons Krystal Wars Marauders Cliff

9648 Dragons Dragonstone Battlefield

9652 Dragons Iron Raiders Raiders Sea Assault

96000 Dragons Siege Chariot

9664 Fire & Ice Dragons Fire Ambush

9889 Fire & Ice Dragons Portal of Fire

96002 Dragons Siege of Raider's Keep

96001 Dragons Battlestorm Castle

9813 Dragons Metal Ages Ramparts of Ryousan

In addition to these I have parts for some sort of large ice mountain set that I don't have the book for and two very large ship sets that are also without books. One is in wood grain brown and I think is from the Man-O-War set, - the other is mostly white and I haven't a clue which set it's from.

Those ships are big too. When I was into Playmobil wargaming I purchased a second hand Playmobil ship (which I have since sold) and these two ships are easily as big as that. The Mega Bloks King Arthur galley I have in my collection looks like a dingy alongside the Dragons ships. Something I do like about MB ships though is that they have cloth sails.
I'm really going to have to do something about figuring out rules for battles at sea (rivers, lakes & etc) as I'm starting to amass a fair collection of boats and ships these days.

One of the storage boxes contains nuffing but dragons. I didn't realise that MB made so many different dragons over the years. I had a few of the older series hard plastic dragons already which are a bit naff looking, but the later dragons made from softer and more flexible plastics are waaaay better. Some of them would look just fine if they were used for Warhammer Fantasy Battles with the Shadow Dragon GRYNDEL from the Ramparts of Ryousan set being the best of the lot. It's the only one to have a flexible wire skeleton which allows it to be realistically posed. If I was still playing Warhammer I'd be delighted to field it in all its two foot long glory in my Elf Army.

The only thing which is a bit annoying is that the two headed dragon from the Iron Raiders Sea Assault set seems to be missing. It's one of the older hard plastic dragons, but I'd still like to have one of them in the collection.

With at least three big castle sets in the mix along with what I already had I'm planning on building up a massive fortress city. It's actually about the best way to store the sets as they take up a lot of room in dismantled condition.

Apart from all that there are piles and piles of armoured warriors from all the Dragons factions with ever so many weapons, shields, banners, war machines etc etc that it will take me a while just to get them all sorted into their various armies.

No problems with finding a use for it all Runny :D

I'm still hunting out all the bits for both ships Hobo, but once I've got everything I'll make a start on assembling them. I might try doing a little modifying and rebuilding here and there, but we'll see how we go. The dragon ship just might make a good vessel for the Empire of the Sun who have a major coastal trade network along the shores of the Bitter Sea on Dinoreich.

It's very impressive. Perhaps one of the better ones I've seen used on the forum.
