So...any more on what you are asking for and/or whether or not you are selling minifigs too?

well, the alternative is he sells it to some eleven year old who doesn't appreciate the value of this stuff, and he rips it apart. then when Silent's dark age has passed and he wants his stuff back, he finds out the kid has destroyed it, and Silent kills him in mad frustration. So really, they're preventing murder.

I look at it like this:

1) Sigfig will decide not to sell in which case no harm no foul; this thread was successful in convincing him to stay with the hobby.

2) Sigfig will decide to sell but no one on these boards responds; legos sit idly on his shelf or alternate means of selling are considered (the dreaded yard sale, etc.)

3) Sigfig will decide to sell but people on these boards respond; quality Lego are given a good home with those who will continue to use them for noble purposes (i.e. brikwars).

Now I have no desire to see Sigfig leave the hobby, but if he is serious about the OP and title, then option 3 seems very worthwhile; thus I offer my home as a recipient for some of his orphans.

I wouldn't buy someone else's mocs because I prefer building my own. However, to say that the Armory is filled with bland creations is both rude and tasteless. Zipps, Freddie, Natalya, Warhead, BFenix, Rev, Silent, Bragallot, Zahru, Piltogg, Aoffan, Dilanski, Robot Monkey, Solvess, Snakemittens, Runny, Beluga, Siercon and Coral, Oneeye, Saphdragon, ShadowScythe, Ham, Muffinman, Zupponn, Ben-Jammin, Alex, Semaj Nagirrac, Ender's Shadow and Ross Varn are great builders.

Sorry if I forgot anyone.

Everyone makes cool stuff. Sometimes it happens only once in a while, sometimes it happens all the time. It's hard to keep track of everyone's awesome.
