Not to mention Orks. You can't forget the orks! I thought that was what most people would be excited about.

Orcs were not present in the Hobbit at all. It was Dale, Dwarves, Elves, Eagles, and Goblins/Wargs at the Battle of Five armies.

This is probably the most excited I've been for a new Lego line. Only revisited Ice Planet 2002 would beat this.

Battle Packs? They aren't going to make Battle Packs for LOTR. Your hopes are all too high.

Well saw a list on EB of the coming sets and one was called Uruk-Hai so that sounds like some kind of battle pack to me, since what is the definition of a battle pack but some figs and a small vehicle or such.

Or it could be an impulse pack for the last battle in Fellowship.

And if you found a list of sets, you should share it.

hmm that could be true, but if it is it will be one of the most sought after impulse packs that will far outpass bigger sets in price in the secondary market.

Looks alright so far. The giant spider isn't a POOP, and some of those sets had lots of minifigs.

I said all I needed to see was a cave troll and a giant spider, and they where shown off right at bat. Also, did I just see a posable black horse in the ring-wraith set?
