I have to complain

There's not a single store in my vicinity that sells Lego. There used to be 3-4. I'm relegated to shipment costs or long trecks to get anything, and man, I really could use those Kingdoms sets for parts.

We all have our complaints, so I guess this could become some kind of complaint thread not to be almost entirely pointless.

We have sets in our stores, but I wish they weren't overpriced as fuck.

Well at least you always have the option of stealing.

Sadly, almost all of the Kingdoms stock is off the shelves in US stores, at least all the ones I've been to. Stinks caus I want more; the run was too short!

Word. I can't imagine the sales to drop so quickly they have to keep coming up with new lines at this rate... But then I'm not a salesman. Castle is probably going to have to make way for Lotr for a while, so we should grab what we can. I realized too late how good those Kingdoms sets actually were! (I got like 3) That Joust set is just art.

the FBI is trying to pressure me into going to my Grad, I'm worried about my mental health, my blood pressure is at an unhealthy low and I have nightmares about a deer with a man's face stalking me.

Keep to complaining about Bricks. I'd tell you to move your personal problems to a similar thread in GD but NO WAY am I gonna be happy hearing about all your incessant problems about spanish class and whatever else you have issues with.

 That was Spartan. Spartan can't speak any real languages. I am fluent in English and Spanish, with bits of French, German, Dutch, Scottish Gaelic, and Japanese.

I guess if I had to complain about lego, it's that I don't have the opportunity to order anything off Bricklink or Brickarms, also that I need more bricks to create buildings rather than figs or vehicles.

Wasn't talking to just you, I just wanted to make sure that I pointed it out before everyone ran in crying about how they've got a crush on some girl who they won't talk to or something. It's also because I've probably got a LOT more to complain about than you guys - I'm in constant pain with jagged scars running up and down my legs which I still cannot walk on, can't go places with stairs, and my girlfriend lives on the other side of California. Things could always be much worse.

Yeah exactly, hence why I put it in the Bricks forum.

I don't know what your collection looks like, but that might not be as true as you think! Most of my set pieces for brikwars (ruined building chunks, tables turned on their ends for cover, generic mechanical tubey things) tend to be made with no more than 5 or 6 pieces total. You might not be able to construct yourself a traditional "base," "castle," or "Headquarters," but you can still make some pretty effective and convincing bits of scenery that make games of Brikwars awesome. I also take all the crap lying around on the kitchen table (bottle openers, lighters, bits of plastic) and stack it into building-looking things for most games. Jenga pieces are your friend!

The nearest store is like 10 minutes from me, and the nearest store with Lego is a half hour drive.

And the nearest Lego Store is like 4 or 5 hours away.
