WOW! this came out great! nice work!
Big bushes in foreground small in back, larger chunks of glass for water and sky, looks good.
I can't believe you found that piece of glass for a sky with clouds, its perfect.

Of course I can always find things to nit pick, but this is really good.

14.5" x 8.5" Stained Glass and Iridescent Glass Tile on Wood laminated with CBB

Her eyes and the black squares are iridized so they provide interesting shines when viewed from an angle. You gotta see it in person in sunlight to know what the piece feels like.

This one is done on a reinforced concrete base. I used thinset ( a type of sticky cement ) to grout the cracks AND glue the glass to the concrete. Because this piece therefore lacks any glue (unlike almost everything else I made thus-far) this one will be impervious to water damage, and is therefore suitable for outdoor display. This is my first truly permanent mosaic, I'm really happy with it. As long as no one smashes it, it should be able to last for a hundred years or more.

This is a Russian Soyuz (TMA Variant) space capsule. It is currently the only vehicle that is being used to transport humans into space. 14" x 8" I took this design from a NASA photo which appears to be taken from STS 134 in 2011.

It is hard to see in this next picture, but the stars light up with LEDs:

In the pic all LEDs are lit, but after taking the pictures one of them appeared to be having problems so I'll probably have to replace it tomorrow.

And there's the lightswitch. Because of how I built the back this one will hang flush with the wall.

I can't get a good photo of this one. It ends up all washed out. This is a little larger than my usual size, it's 16" x 10" and has a built up back w/ wire to hang flush on the wall similar to the big Link one.

I was using a new camera, maybe I need to figure out how to work it properly. Nikon D3100. It belongs to my aunt.
