Definitely a tough job to open cans with that thing, but thanks.  It is actually meant for cutting this type of tile, it can cleave them clean in half.

In fact, if you look at this shark:

See the square tiles that make the body of the shark?  All of the other tiles in this piece are the exact same, I just cut them into thirds.  They're the kind in the picture linked to above.

Interesting to see that you only need one specification of material to make a whole piece. (They shine a bit too, which fits quite well with watery themes.)

This is my latest creation.  7" x 14¾"

I took a computer model of my car and traced it from this weird back angle.  Then I drew the scene.  Making the Mustang was not as hard as making the background.  Technically it was more challenging perhaps, but generating the perspective I went with was quite difficult and left an imperfect result.  However, I think that the colours used really enhance the picture and give it a solid composition.

I always thought orange was a good color for a sports car.

The car looks great, I could tell you used a good reference.
As you mentioned, The front wheel needed to be up the page, and the rear wheel down, to better match the background.
From that new perspective you would see the back window.

You know how people do stained glass of pretty things?
Maybe make a dirty alley with the heroic item being a full dumpster, maybe on fire.

The car was made before the background, so really the background should have been done to match the view of the car.  I should have prototyped the whole thing in Hammer and done a screenshot or whatever, but I ended up more-or-less free-handing the background.  The road however is almost correct.

Making the car is a challenge since it's an object with lots of symmetry, despite the perspective. Still, you pulled it off nicely. I'm digging the tire details.

Well BFenix beat me to it, but with a car that looks as eye catching as that (with all the little details like indicators and tire-treads) the fact that the background isn't filled with details doesn't really count a problem, seeing as the centre of attention is the car - and the car looks good.

Check out this little mirror I made.  8" x 8" with a 3½" x 3½" mirror.

You almost nailed the edges of the brighter frame, but apart from that it's excellent.

Having the edges not be perfect is probably actually a plus.

Things like those miters not being perfect don't bother me at all.
It adds character.

That's a really nice mirror. I'm digging the colour choices.
