After being invited by a college of mine that is in the same situation as I (Engineering Course with interest in Arts) I went to the VA teacher today and she said it would be totally fine! I'll be starting next week with basic color works. I wanted to share my joy with you all, there can be a place for art in my life after all :)
I'm so happy for you BFenix. Is the educational system in Portugal good?

It depends on schools and I don't mean public or private education, it's really an individual matter. The last minister of education totally fucked things up but it's better now.
Overall, it is a balanced system, yet it makes students take important choices very early on, not mentioning that once you have chosen your desired course, several others not related are excluded, in my example, I chose the Engineering course but I still wanted some serious artistic education like music or arts. It does not happen unless you're lucky or search for these treasures like I did.

Pessimists say the glass is half-empty, while optimists say it's half full.
Engineers, of course, know that the glass is really just twice as tall as it needs to be.

It was engineered to have a 100% safety factor to prevent spillage.

I thought typical safety margins ran 200% or so?

...In which case it's a moot point. Don't cry over spilled milk.

@BFenix: So, is Metal and The Hill going to be done any time soon?

Must finish Silver, Lep, and... I'm not sure if I'll include Ham.

I was a quintessential member in Metal and the Hill, I sacrificed my self to destroy Bieber. This action created "Metal's Hill"

EDIT:

METAL'S HILL.
With Ham's sacrifice The Hill is forever saved from Biebers corruption. We play a neoclassic requiem in his memory...

Experimenting with Photoshop CS4 and Wacom Tablet.
Nothing serious, just a doodle that took me around 30 minutes.

As the title might suggest, I drew this while listening to Venom's Black Metal album. Seriously evil stuff!
Perspective is kinda messed up.

So I'm totally adopting Steelpunk as the name for this genre Im developing and day dreaming about. An awesome mix between sci-fi, fantasy and the world of Heavy Metal. Basically were Hellius and The Metal Warriors are based on.

The setting I had in mind was a metal hero's journey to a dreaded fortress of Black Metal situated on a cold rocky wasteland. Ghastly fumes find their way out of ever burning impaled corpses spread through out the dark structure, possibly a warning sign to intruders.
At the very top of the fortress rests a demonic figure, patiently awaiting our metal hero to surpass the threats inside and to finally challenge him in an epic Rock-off to the death!

Hopefully in the beginning of 2012 I'll have TMATH done. Damn that thing is taking me alot to finish!
